Orca Airways Ltd. (Orca) is a safety driven, performance based, results oriented small airline company whose success over the years reflects the foundation of its strength; safety and training, quality service, effective leadership, customer and employee relationships and effective enterprise management.

The companys success story and reputation as a carrier of choice, continues to grow and remain profitable. From its humble beginnings in 2005 with only (1) Navajo Chieftain to a current fleet of (18) aircraft including (2) King Airs; all in keeping with sound management, business practices and processes, policies implemented to control cost and maintain profitability.

The airline distinguishes itself from competitors in the market place by having one of the largest fleets (18) of small aircraft in Western Canada, with the right equipment and personnel capable to deliver cargo, charter and passenger services to various locations from its Vancouver base.

First, the companys core philosophy speaks to high level of social responsibility, ethical conduct and environmental sensitivity. Orca, as part of its strategic development initiatives for 2012, and at its own expense, will pursue carbon credits offsets as part of its contributions to a live-able and sustainable environment.

Second, Orca Airways overall operational performance combined with its expertise and knowledge of the regulatory environment in general has earned its reputation as a well managed and dependable airline. With Its fleet of 18 small aircraft, up to 40 trained and experienced pilots at any time, each with an understanding of the Province's geography and seasonal conditions for safe flying; all of our pilots have contributed to the companys knowledge and expertise.

Third, Orca's organizational structure, supported by a high level of enterprise management, and highly skilled and experienced personnel in the aviation industry has been the hall mark of Orca's success. The company's Vancouver base is over 22,500 square feet of office and hanger space located at YVR's south airport. It includes space for office administration, dispatch, maintenance, training, medical supplies storage and space for multiple aircraft hangar space.

Lastly, Orca Airways has demonstrated over the past years financial prudence and fiscal responsibility and has built a successful airline on its ability to grow and develop in a strategic manner. We've developed a successful business model that has stood the test of competition, the downturn in the economy and increasing fuel costs.
