Private Aircraft Management
Management of the aircraft to be capable of dispatches 24 hours a day - seven days a week. Our expertise will cover the following items:
Experienced Operations Manager
The Operations Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Private Operators Certificate (POC) with the CBAA or the Operations Manual with Transport Canada for commercially registered aircraft. He will also be responsible to ensure that the aircraft is being operated under the Canadian Air Regulations (CARS) at all times. A self (internal) audit system will be implemented to ensure that the operating systems are working in accordance to the approved manual and procedures.
Establishment of a Safety Program
A Transport Canada approved Safety Management System (SMS) will be implemented to ensure the highest levels of safety is maintained both on the ground as well as in the air. An emergency response manual will be specifically designed for your company to ensure a proper response is made to any emergency that involves the company aircraft. An internal audit procedure will be used annually on the SMS program.
Dispatch and Flight Following Service
Aircraft can be dispatched 24 hours a day, all year and have flight following to ensure the highest degree of safety is achieved while the aircraft is in the air. Trip coordination including FBO arrangements, ground transportation, hotel arrangements, in-flight catering, etc. all are completed and to leave your travel worry-free. An Internet reservation system is provided to allow the ownership group the convenience to check the aircraft availability and to book the aircraft.
Experienced Flight Crews
Minimum of 2 pilots trained to PIC qualifications with a minimum of 3500 hours total time. Orca Airways Ltd. holds the exclusive right to crew the aircraft during the term of the contract. Initial training will be conducted on a Transport Canada Approved Simulator at the expense of the owner. All pilots will be based in Vancouver .
Maintenance Coordination
All maintenance shall be coordinated by a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organizations. All applicable parts will be purchased through the Manufacturers Program or Approved Parts Suppliers recognized by Transport Canada to ensure quality control.
Fuel
Fuel will be provided at the home base of Vancouver , B.C. by Orca Airways Ltd. at cost plus a lift fee. Fuel purchased away from the base will be purchased from branded fuel stations via contract fuel agreements or the best price offered on the airport. The owner shall provide the aircraft with the appropriate fuel purchase cards.
Insurance
The aircraft will be insured to a minimum of million per occurrence on liability and to the owner's stated value for hull coverage on the ground and in the air.
Hangarage
The aircraft will be protected in a secure hanger that will restrict access to the aircraft and protect it from the elements.
