REGULAR TICKET, NON-REFUNDABLE

  • Cancellations made up to 48 hours before flight will have an Orca Airways Credit File created less Administration Fees
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before flight are forfeited; no refund, no credit file.
  • Changes made up to 48 hours before flight will be subject to an Administration Fee
  • Changes are not permitted less than 48 hours before flight.

UPGRADE TICKET, REFUNDABLE

  • Cancellations made up to 48 hours prior to flight qualify for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before flight are refundable less Administration Fees.

CREDIT FILES

  • Orca Airways credit files are valid for one (1) year from original flight date.
  • Credits are transferable and may be subject to administration fees.

ADMINISTRATION FEES

  • $25 plus tax per person per one way flight; YYJ, YXX, CAT4
  • $50 plus tax per person per one way flight; YAZ Tofino

IDENTIFICATION AND CHECK-IN INFORMATION

  • Identification will be checked for all guests. Infants require proof of age.
  • Guests are required to check-in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of their flight.
  • Guests arriving at the gate less than 10 minutes prior to departure risk losing their reserved seat and may be treated as a 'Failure to Show'.
  • Failure to Show up for a flight will result in all fares, fees, charges, surcharges, and taxes being forfeited.

RULES OF CARRIAGE & BAGGAGE INFORMATION

  • Orca Airway's baggage allowance includes checked and carry on items with a maximum combined weight (13.6kg/30lbs) per person. All carry on must be secured within your safety belt as the aircraft has no foot storage or overhead compartments.
  • Baggage over the allowance will be charged $1.00/lb or $2.20/kg. There is no guarantee that over weight baggage will travel on the same flight as the guest.

FEES, TAXES AND SURCHARGES

  • AIF - Airport Improvement Fees
  • GST - Canadian Goods and Services Tax (HST for Bookings after July 1, 2010)
  • ATSC - Air Traveler's Security Charge
  • NAV/INS - Nav Canada Fees and Passenger Insurance Fees

FLIGHT DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS

  • Orca Airways is not responsible for delays or missed connections due to adverse weather or mechanical failure.
  • In case of flight delay or cancellation passengers may be transported by alternate means.
  • There is no refund or credit for delayed or canceled flights except upgraded tickets.
